Almost a decade ago, I visited Wilmington, North Carolina, for the first time on vacation, with no idea this city would one day become such a meaningful part of my story. From the start, something about Wilmington drew me in. Its creative spirit, energy, and authenticity felt familiar, as if I were reconnecting with a place I already knew. It was a quiet understanding that this city and I were meant to cross paths again. This is your reminder that trusting your instincts in work and life will rarely steer you wrong.
That feeling stayed with me for years, but when it came time to think seriously about a second home, I didn’t rely on emotion alone. I balanced intuition with strategy, researching the area, the community, and the investment potential. I looked into whether Wilmington made sense as a home and smart business move. Every step confirmed what my intuition had already whispered: Wilmington was where I was meant to build this next chapter.
Our new address is 911. Our closing date was 1/9, and our closing time was 9:00 a.m. In numerology, 911 is a sign to:
align your life with your true purpose and calling
step out of your comfort zone
embrace your unique gifts and talents
use them to make a positive impact on the world around you
The repetition of those numbers felt anything but coincidental. It was the universe echoing what my heart already knew: this move was right.
This journey reminded me of the women I know and admire—the female founders who lead with both intuition and intellect. They listen to their instincts and trust their gut, but they also research, validate, and take intentional steps toward their goals. When alignment appears, and the signs show up, they don’t let fear stop them. They leap, trusting that their wings will carry them.
As women, we’re often encouraged to put others’ needs before our own, to make sure everyone else is comfortable before we act on what matters most to us. But true alignment comes when we follow what feels right, using both our head and our heart to make bold, authentic choices.
For me, our home is more than a new address. It’s a symbol of trusting intuition, honoring strategy, and showing up fully for the life and career that feels aligned.
Here’s to new beginnings, brave decisions, and trusting your gut as you step confidently into what’s next.
